If you have multiple computers and want to access your printer from all of them, or maybe you have a laptop and still want to be able to print without having to go take the laptop to the printer and hooking it up, then setting up a print server is for you.

     Setting this up is very easy to do and you can do it for all of your printers if you have multiple of them. This is another one of those services you can set up on your server that does not require the latest and greatest hardware to work. Even the oldest hardware that supports Leopard will work great for this. The only limitation to this is that the drivers for your printer have to work on the installed operating system. This is typically not an issue though since the drivers for most any major brand printer not only work, but also stand a good chance of already being installed.
